Many clients do not understand what this working draft is for.
“Order a design and that will be enough,” an inner voice tells them.
“You could be in big trouble down the road,” a very real prospective contractor/architect/designer tells them.
Most projects that start with design alone require more time and money later on. Let’s make a reservation right away, we do not mean small technically complex projects. Relatively speaking, a small apartment can and should be done with interior design (section DP). And for a large office or restaurant, it is better not to spare money and time and order a FULL set of services. Imagine your proposed office. While everything is abstract. Happy employees. Beautiful furniture. Cool interior. Work is in full swing. Everything pleases the eye. And most importantly, you are happy with yourself. You ordered only a design, having listened to an inner voice and you don’t regret anything and even rejoice. It’s like winning “Who Takes a Million” without the help of a call to a friend. And then, for no apparent reason, your thoughts are interrupted by your completely non-abstract employee with the words: “I have nothing to breathe, I can’t work like that; I’m hot; I’m cold.” – ??? It can’t be how it happened, you say to yourself. And here everything is simple, we say. You have not ordered a detailed design that includes a detailed study of the ventilation section (HVAC section), and as a result you have an irritated staff and low work capacity. Well, then you start to “strain” the designer, who does not understand this, or the contractor who warned you about this. As a result, alteration / completion, spent nerves, time and the threat of a stomach ulcer. And we just started talking about ventilation. In principle, you can add other sections, we are sure there will also be shortcomings. Such as, for example, the lack of outlets (EOM section) or the installed high gander (VC section) that splashes like Niagara Falls. In general, do not spare time and effort on a working project.
